Captain's message (2012/13)

Welcome to Meltham Golf Club, a friendly club that values all members and provides a warm welcome to all.

The Meltham course is a blend of 18 challenging Heath/Parkland holes. Tree lined fairways, babbling brooks and lakeside holes featuring some of Yorkshire’s finest greens combine to make Meltham a true hidden gem, all set against the splendour of the Pennine hills in the heart of “Last of the Summer Wine” country. Catering facilities in the clubhouse are regarded amongst the best in the area, meaning no visit to our region is complete without experiencing Meltham. The friendly and vibrant social aspect to our club makes Meltham a great place to enjoy friendships old and new in wonderful surroundings.

I am particularly looking forward to golfing and socialising with all our members over the next 12 months. I wish all our teams and individuals representing our club another successful season for 2012.

I hope that you all continue to enjoy this great game and more importantly, that you make the most of being part of this fine club.
